MAYPORT, Fla. (Jan. 24, 2018) Chief of Naval Operations Adm. John M. Richardson departs the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) following an all-hands call. During the call, Richardson and Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy Steven S. Giordano discussed Iwo Jima’s upcoming deployment and answered questions on topics including advancement, uniforms, shipboard readiness throughout the fleet, and the Sailor 2025 program.
