Head and thorax yellow-brown or red-brown ; palpi and legs grey-brown irrorated with white, the tarsi ringed with white ; abdomen fuscous brown, the hair at sides, anal tuft, and ventral surface pinkish. Fore wing yellow-brown or reddish brown, the markings often almost obsolete ; double, waved, subbasal and ante- medial lines, the latter excurved below cell; orbicular and reniform faintly defined bj' fuscous ; an indistinct medial shade; the post- medial line waved, oblique towards costa, excurved at median. .Fig. 114.— Triphcena interjecta, cJ. \. nerviiles, then incurved, and with some dark points beyond it on the veins ; a diffused subterminal shade slightly angled outwards at vein 7 and incurved below 'vein 4; a terminal line and line through the cilia. Hind wing orange-yellow ; the cell, costal and inner areas suffused with fuscous brown ; a slight discoidal lunule; a broad black terminal band expanding on apical area and with sinuous inner edge ; the termen and cilia yellow, with some fuscous on the latter towards apex. Underside of fore wing fuscous, with the costal and terminal areas brownish ochreous; hind wing with the costal area pinkish. Hah.
