Ilford, London, UK. Wednesday 18th March 2015. 11 Rescued from fire in flats above a shop in Ilford. Six Fire engines from across east London tackled a fire in a block of flats in Ilford early this morning. London Fire Brigade reported that Six adults and five children including a baby were rescued by firefighters using ladders. It is reported that the fire broke out in a shop below the flats.
