Wabash Ave. >.;>.<. ists CHICAGO and second floors for its market and shipping departments. Fred Hoerber has resumed charge of the store of Hoerber Bros., after two weeks' service on a jury. Henry Wittbold reports that he was never more rushed on work for wed- dings than at the present time. He has been asked to furnish the floral decorations for eight June events with- in ten days, and as they are all the way from the south side to Waukegan it will keep his force on the run. His latest task of note was the decorations for the Northwestern University spring musical. Two houses 29x100 each, and two 27x 100 each, are being erected at River Forest for E. C. Waller. The Moninger iron frame is being used, together with their steam heat and wrought iron pip- ing system. Mr. Waller is agent for the Rookery building. W. L. Palinsky says business has been fine this spring and he expects to tear down two of his small houses as soon as the rush is over and erect one large house in their place.
