FELDENKRAIS METHOD

Reportage in a Feldenkrais method practice. Individual session for dancers from the Young Ballet Higher National Conservatory for Music and Dance in Lyon, France. The Feldenkrais method is a global somatic education method which improves and teaches ease and fluidity in body movement. Exploration of movement initially enables the person to gently neutralize certain automatic reflexes that can cause discomfort or stiffness. This leads to new, more appropriate sensori-motor pathways. Harmonious and efficient movements that rely on less effort improve body use.
