A sabre M 1858 for petty officers and staff sergeants of the Russian navy Slightly curved single-edged blade with etched Russian maker's mark " Zlatoust 1862" at the back of the blade. Fire-gilt brass hilt with two bars. The knuckle bow struck with Cyrillic maker's mark "Skosyrev" under Russian double-headed eagle. Leather covered grip with brass wire hilt. Black leather scabbard with gilt brass mounts. Length 89 cm. Rare. Cf.
