Air Force Maj. Stephen Keck, F-15E pilot assigned to the 53rd Wing, showcases the 2022 Mackay Trophy coin he was awarded for completing the most meritorious flight of 2022 at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, Jan. 11, 2024. The MacKay Trophy is awarded by the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, annually. It is one of the longest-standing aviation awards in the nation and first awarded to 2nd Lt. Henry H. ’Hap’ Arnold in 1912.
