The introduction of the three-wire system did notrequire any very extensive changes in substations andfeeders. At Olive substation it involved nothing but afew changes in switchboard connections. At Shermansubstation it involved changes in switchboard connec-tions and the installation of a 400-kw. motor-generatorset. No additional feeders were required, but the oldfeeding system was rearranged somewhat and sectionalinsulators installed in the trolley wire. Between the IOOO IOOOKWCE . M.«. SET. D. C FEEDERS.
