A female vervet or green monkey grooms a male's back


The green monkey, also known as the vervet monkey was brought to Barbados from Africa over 300 years ago. They can be seen throughout the island, especially on the west coast. Here, the female is grooming the male, looking for parasites and pests that may be in the males hair
