Electric car motor. This electric car, Think City, designed by the Norwegian company Think, was revealed at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show. The electric motor, which gets its power from a controller, is seen in place of a normal petrol engine. The car can travel up to 180 kilometres (in one charge) and reach a top speed of 100 kilometres per hour. Electric cars may be increasingly important in the future as the world's oil reserves become depleted. Photographed in Monaco.
