View NE of Lochbuie stone circle, Mull, Scotland, UK, including the nearest & tallest (3m) of two outliers to the SW (L). A perfect circle of nine stones across with the tallest () stone at the WSW: eight original stones with the position of the missing ninth marked by a boulder at the exact N. The circle lies in level parkland (wet pasture), described in 1848 as the Field of the Druids, 300m N of Lochbuie House. There are two outlying stones to the SW, a small one to the SE (just visible to R of the circle) & another 2m high to the NNW which seems to indicate the pass through the mountains to the N. There is a ruined kerb-cairn in trees some 260m WNW of the circle.
