Trim or grind the fillingdown until the original shape of the tooth is restored, theoperation on occlusal surfaces frequently requiring the appli-cation of much esthetic taste as well as mechanical skill tocarve grooves and cusps to their original anatomical form,(b) Polish, first with garnet and then with cuttle-fish disks,in locations where these will readily reach, finally going over i6o PILLING MATERIALS.
