A. This is a noble Pine, with deep bluish green leaves. It grows 1-50 feet high in Northern California. Hardy and very valuable. $ to $ t- P. ponderosa. HEAVY-WOODED PiNE. A. This also Is a noble tree, attaining the height of 100 feet, found abundantlj- on the northwest coast of America and California. It is perfectly hardy here. Specimens in our grounds are upwards of .50 feet in height. It is a rapid grower, the leaves 8 to 10 inches In length, and of a silvery green color. $ to $ Sec. III.
