A man wearing face mask as a preventive measure against the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19) sits near the Chinese New Year decorations at the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur shopping mall has recorded 5,725 new Covid-19 infections cases with sixteen fatalities in the past 24 hours. For the first time the number of infections has surpassed the 5,000 mark, which has brought the nation’s total number of infected individuals to 203,933.
