Juan Antonio Zaratiegui Celigüeta (1804-1873). Spanish military officer. He fought on the Carlist side during the First Carlist War. Assistant to General Tomás de Zumalacárregui. He was imprisoned and went into exile in France in 1839. In 1849 he was pardoned. As lieutenant general, he was appointed director general of the Civil Guard (Guardia Civil) on 16 September 1868.
