Upper surface rather shining- ketus, sip. n. 303. Oxyadoretns nasutus, sp. nov. (Plate V, fig. 3.) Pale testaceous, with the clypeus and tarsi i-ed, the forehead and vertex black, and the pronotum decorated witli a rather in- definite brown patch on each side of the middle line. Elongate-oval, moderately depressed and clothed witli extremely fine, uniform pale setae. The pygidium is rather thickly clothed witli soft short erect hair, thinner Fio-. m.— Oxiiadoretus towards the apex, which is rather smooth and ''" nasutus, cJ. shining. The front tibia is rather broad and armed with three very sharp teeth. The c]a\\-s are very unequal, the shorter one of the hind foot less than half as long as the longer.
