London, UK. 27 July 2015. As part of "Celebrating Africa" at the British Museum the UK-Trinidadian artist Zak Ové has created two Moko Jumbie sculptures. Ove's seven metre high carnival figures on stilts are displayed in the Great Court from 28 July to 13 September 2015. The male and female figures are inspired by African masquerade and have been commissioned to coincide with the Notting Hill Carnival at the end of August.
