The Malpighian corpuscles may 534 THE SPLEEN contain more lymphoid cells, but in some cases they are more certain cases the lymphoid cells of the pulp proper are very few innumber. ( X 300).—Note the above changes in the Malpighian body andin the trabecule, both of which may be somewhat hypertrophied.\x\ the former the condition varies slightly in different cases. Thereis frequently an increase in the number of small round lymphoid.
