A 19th century illustration of The Place de Concorde & Montmartre (Paris, France), the largest square in the French capital. Construction began in 1757 and was completed 1772. It was formerly a place of execution. The square got its name in 1795 but reverted to Place Louis XV, in 1826 .After the July Revolution of 1830 it assumed its present name once Illustration du XIXe siècle de la place de la Concorde et de Montmartre (Paris, France), la plus grande place de la capitale française. La construction a commencé en 1757 et s'est achevée en 1772.
