A delicious little russet Pear,renowned for its rich juiciness ; tree slow in growth: free from blight. SHELDON. Another excellent russet Pear good size and flavor. VERMONT BEAUTY. Very hardy, vigor- ous, free from leaf-blight, and'an annual and abundant bearer. In quality the fruit resembles the Seckel. It is full medium size, yellow, with red blush; flesh melting, rich, juicy, aromatic. Ripens with and after the Seckel, though much larger and more attractive. WILDER EARLY. A good growing, good keeping, good shipping, superior flavored, very early, handsome Pear. It holds its foliage well, and thus far has been free from blight or other disease.
