Corporal Roy S. Ratley, A Georgia National Guard Soldier of Company C, 151st Machine Gun Battalion is one of more than 14,000 American Soldiers buried in the Meuse Argonne Cemetery. Ratley, a 21 year old from Leslie, Georgia was killed by a German artillery shell July 15, 1918 during the Champagne Marne Defensive.
