Exhibitors of roses in both commer- cial and private classes are reminded that under a new ruling of the Amer- ican Eose Society all roses with more than two growths (one pinch) will be disqualified, except in the classes call- ing for displays, and tot 100 or more blooms in a vase, when two pinches will be allowed. The rose section, as prepared by the American Eose Society, contains an un- ?sually liberal list of premiums, which ^ggTeg&te considerably over $4,000. Al- most all the varieties of roses used •ommercially as cut flowers are classed, and new varieties are provided for; while perpetuals, teas, Wichuraianas and polyanthas, and their hybrids
