The London 2012 Olympic games was one of the most successful in modern history. And this is the main Olympic Stadium in Stratford where many of the athletics events took place. You can also see the Velodrome for cycling and controversial public sculpture - ArcelorMittal Orbit - which disappeared soon after the Games. Looking past all this, you can see several of the skyscrapers of the City of London, including the Shard and the Wallkie Talkie. The Stadium is now used by West Ham Football Club in the Premiership.
