Early morning spring sunshine shines through the leaves onto the churchyard of St Mary in the pretty village of Burpham. Burpham is situated in the scenic Arun valley near Arundel. The church dates back to the twelfth and thirteenth century and was restored in the nineteenth century. There is a lepers window where the lepers were blessed by the priest.
