Another di-ess was of plain gray silk, with tabliertrimming of porcelain blue, in graduated ruches, at eachend of every ruche a butterfly bow. The corsage wasarranged so as to give the effect of the corslets or waist-bands now in use. A ruche of blue rose from under thearm, and was brought up to a point just under the bust,as in a peasants corsage, where it ended in a bow. Thedress was corded heavily with blue on all the seams ofthe sleeves and corsage.
