Neues Museum (New Museum). Berlin. Germany. Building constructed from 1843 to 1855 by order of king Frederick William IV of Prussia in Neoclassical and Renaissance Revival styles. The architect was Friedrich August Stüler. It was restored from 1999 to 2009 by David Chipperfield. Architectural detail of the facade. It preserves the damages suffered during the Second World War.
