Anthony Wills feels the barley prior to production starting at the Kilchoman Distillery which is the first new distillery on Islay for 120 years which will be opening during the Islay Whisky festival next week. It is based on the style of the old Islay Farm Distilleries and will produce a single malt from barley grown on the farm where the distillery is based.
