On his return fromthis prolonged stay among the cod fishermenhe was t|uite well again, and in Novemberof that year he was married to Miss Theresa,the daughter of James and Sophia (Bray-ton) Flagg, of Hubbard ton, Vermont. Shewas born in that place, and was a gradu-ate of Castleton Seminary. She was a verysuccessful teacher and had taught a numberof terms previous to her marriage. Theyoung couple came on immediately
