Apollo 12 astronaut Conrad on the Moon. US astronaut Charles 'Pete' Conrad, commander for the Apollo 12 lunar landing mission, taking a photograph of lunar module pilot Al Bean, who is taking this photograph (seen reflected in Conrad's visor). Apollo 12 was the second manned mission to land on the Moon, arriving in the Ocean of Storms on 19 November 1969. Astronauts Charles Conrad and Alan Bean made two excursions on the surface for a total of 7 hours 45 minutes.
