The display is certainly a grand one and will unquestionably be of immense benefit to the trade. Just prior to the opening official action was taken which results practically in mak- ing floriculture a department of the Fair instead of a bureau of the department of horticulture. Hereafter Mr. Thorpe will report to and be responsible to the Director General direct and will be free from the necessity of consulting any
