Carved stone figures adorn ancient temples dating as far back as the 6th century, at My Son, Vietnam's most important center of the ancient Kingdom of Champa, in the hills of Quang Nam Province. My Son was an important religious center for the Champa culture from the 4th to the 13th century, and is now a UNESCO World Heritage site.
