Christ is crowned with the crown, Dirck Volckertsz. Coornhert (attributed to), after Maarten van Heemskerck, 1548 print Christ is mocked by the soldiers. He gets a crown on his head and a blade of grass as a scepter. The print is part of a thirty -part series with prints about the fall and Christ's passion. Haarlem paper etching the crowning with thorns: soldiers with sticks place a thorny crown on Christ's head and give him a reed (Matthew 27:27-31; Mark 15:16-20; John 19:2-3)
