Albert Bridge, West London, a Grade II* listed road bridge over the River Thames between Chelsea on the north bank and Battersea to the south. Designed by Rowland Mason Ordish in 1873 as a cable-stayed bridge, it was later modified by Sir Joseph Bazalgette to incorporate elements of a suspension bridge
