Captured in this photograph is a group of military personnel from the Vietnam War era. The individuals, including Gunnery Sergeant Leland E. Andley, Staff Sergeant Richard J. Purtell, Lieutenant Colonel Du Wayne W. Hoffert, and First Lieutenant Peter Cacciola, are seen posing with an ageing UH-34D helicopter, number 1,3971. The helicopter was retired after her last flight and is being returned to Quantico, Va., for display in the Marine Corps Museum. This image was taken by SSgt Bill Graham in 1968.
