The numerous casualties whichhave occurred because of the removalof the cover, in spite of this warning,show that a better form of cover isnecessary. There are also appreciablelosses of contents in the form of gas,due to lack of tightness of the screwcoyer, even where soft gaskets aie cars assigned permanently to thesevery volatile products, it would suffice (See report on page 459.)
