Coops for Little Chicks. — Of these there is an almost endless variety, conforming generally to one of two plans ; they are either A-shaped or box coops. Fig. 42 shows a common ^-shaped coop, without floor or coop- pen for the hen. Fig. 43 shows another style of y^-coop with partly closed front, coop-pen, and movable shelter board to keep out sun and rain. This coop may be made either with or without floor. A permanent floor in a coop of this shape is objection- able because of the diffi- culty of keeping the corners between floor and sides clean.
