In such asituation you very seldom find a nest of the GreaterWhitethroat, which prefers a more lowly nesting-site amongbrambles and low bushes. The eggs are roimder and smaller, and of two quite distinct types : one, except in size, closelyresembles the eg-o- of the Cireater AMiitethroat, and is of afreckled greenish white ; the other is always very roimd, andthe spots are distributed in a zone round the larger end, leaving the rest of the e^^^ almost Spottkd Flycatcher i^Miiscicapa gnsola).
