Cells seen here include red blood cells (grey, no nuclei) and white blood cells (nuclei stained purple), some with multi-lobed nuclei. The stain used here is the May-Grunwald-Giemsa (MGG) stain. Magnification: x1000 when printed at 10 centimetres across.
