Environment Agency digger clearing stones to ease flood risk, River Wyre, Ceredigion
2007 was one of the wettest summers on record in the UK. This work is normally done in Autumn prior to the winter floods but this year was done early, presumably because of the incresed flood frequency on the river due to large volumes of Summer rain.
