WASHINGTON (Nov. 15, 2017) Polly Spencer, wife of Secretary of the Navy Richard V. Spencer (SECNAV), is thanked for her time and visit to Naval History and Heritage Command (NHHC) by Pat Burns, deputy director of NHHC. Spencer visited NHHC to learn more about the command and how, as the Navy’s institutional memory, it enhances the warfighting effectiveness of the fleet and garners the continued support of the American public.
