Y''W GIiOBE DANVERS.—A very handsome, round, yellow onion; a large yielder and splendid keeper; the preferred sort with market gardeners and large growers all over the country. We unhesitatingly recommend it for growing either sets or large onions. PRIZE TAKER.—This is a large, beautiful onion, rich straw color, and Is of enormous size. The flavor is mild and delicate. By sowing this sort early you can raise a large crop of large onions the first season with very little trouble. All that is necessary is good ground, proper cultivation, and not to have them too thick. WHITE SnVERSEIIT or FOBTTTGAI^.—A good variety for family use, skin and flesh pure white, mild flavor and flat shape. The best white onion to grow largely for sets. AITSTRAI^IAN' BROWN.—A Valuable I^ong-Eeeplng Onion.—The outside skin is of a deep amber brown, distinct from all other onions, extremely hard and firm, of fine flavor. WETHERSPIELD IiARGE RED.—Well-known and favorite sort. A large yielder and good keeper. yEIiIiOW DUTCH, or STRASBURG-.—The most popular and best variety for set purposes. Is similar to the Yellow Danvers. Flat in shape, color and size. TEKIaOW GIiOBE DANVERS ONION but as a set onion it has the quality of ripening down earlier and more uniformly. ONION SETS. OF ONION SETS Have a clean and very rich soil, which should be thoroughly cultivated, or it will not do well enough to pay for the trouble.
