In like manner the oblique muscles are corrected by the recti. The following tabultur statement will express the conditions of muscular contraction for the various movements of the eye in man: Straight move- EXevation Rectus superior and obliqaos in- ferior. Depression Beotus inferior and obliquus su- perior. Adduction to nasal .Rectus intemns. Adduction to malar .Rectus extemus. 86 J.
