The area around the are ais popular with walkers and families taking a strooll around the banks; however if government regulations are brought in for the North, a pleasant stroll where you cross the County Line could leave you in breach of regulations, maybe even a fine. Regulations maty be applied from Wednesday. It's an example of regulations being imposed without thinking of local impact. Walkers I spoke to were unaware of the boundary.
