Digesters and David Claridge waste water technician Poo-Power: The UK's first bio-methane to grid plant and one of two in the country. A Thames Water pilot project , Didcot UK opened October 2010. The plant converts raw sewage to methane that is then put into the gas grid at rate of 70 cubic metres per day.
