Clearing ashes from a kiln used to fire Bhaktapur's famous pottery, Nepal
The ancient Newari city of Bhaktapur is famous for its clay pottery. After drying in the sun, the pottery is buried in a temporary kiln of straw and fired under the smoldering heap. Clearing the kiln out afterwards is a dusty job.
