Civil War in USA was difficult for everyone, both in the North and South.

A time period of 1860 in America when the nation is engaged in a massive civil war affecting lives across thousands of miles. Before it is over 3 million will have fought, and more than 750,000 will have died. More men died in the Civil War than any other American conflict, and two-thirds of the dead perished from disease. Men once protected from contagion by isolation marched shoulder to shoulder and slept by side in unventilated tents. Camp became breeding grounds.
