He -was held over forthe Second Camp and assigned to the 1 8thCompany. Upon receiving his commis-sion he -was ordered overseas, sailing inJanuary, 1918, as a casual officer. Uponarrival in France he underwent furthermilitary training in the Infantry Special-ists School at Langres, and was thenassigned to the 23rd Infantry, v^rith wrhichregiment he met his death by shell was unmarried and is survived by hisparents, Mr. and Mrs. Guy C. Goodfellow,of I 08 Crescent Avenue, Peoria, 111. FIRST LIEUTENANT HOWARD E. GORMLEY Company 1, 6th Infantry, Fifth Division. Died in A. E. F.
