See description on page 18. SULLIVAN'S EARLY ELBERTA <i») A new bud sport of the famous Elberta, ripening a full seven to 12 days ahead of its parent. The variety found as a bud sport in the orchard of Mr. J. P. Sullivan at Zebulon, Ga. The tree and fruit characteristics were found to be identical with Elberta. Sullivan's Early Elberta is. being planted extensively throughout Georgia and adjoining states. Our trees are propogated from the original strain. We have fruited Sullivan's Early Elberta now for several years in our test orchard and are more im- pressed with it each year. It ripens ahead of the reg- ular Early Elberta, and Belle of Georgia; it averages large in size, extra fine quality and shows good ship- ping ability. We have long needed a good commercial peach to fill this ripening time. Sullivan's Early El- berta has real possibilities and we recommend it highly. EARLY ELBERTA <") A Great Commercial Peach Ripening Just Be- fore Regular Elberta. Where Quality—Size—Productiveness and Beau- ty Are Desired, Plant Our Old Original Strain of Early Elberta.
