Gertrude Jekyll beside the terrace bridge at Deanery Garden, Sonning, Berkshire, after 1901. Sir Edwin Lutyens built the house for Edward Hudson, owner of 'Country Life', in 1901. The garden was an example of his collaboration with Gertrude Jekyll.
