Tudor Revival House, Jamaica Estates, Queens, New York

Tudor Revival house built in the 1920s or 1930s in Jamaica Estates, Queens. The garden community was designed by landscape architect Charles W. Leavitt. As an antidote to 19th-century industrial urban districts, he designed an English garden suburb to feature single-family houses along winding streets. The inspiration was Tuxedo Park in Orange County.
